Producer Enterprise Agent (PEA) Model
This graphic depicts Lutheran World Relief's Producer Enterprise Agent (PEA) Model that we employ in numerous projects as part of our approach to strengthen agricultural livelihoods. PEAs are producers who are members of cooperatives selected by other producers to serve as liaisons between the project and village level producers and to support the producers in all key project activities. They receive training on improving agricultural production practices and post-harvest processing, business and marketing, as well as support the flow of information between project stakeholders.
