Why I Love My Work

When you work with an organization like Lutheran World Relief, what keeps you going every day is that you are making a difference in every task you do. You are actively contributing to our mission to transform the lives of children and helping the world’s poorest communities build the resilience they need to thrive.  It is truly a privilege and a blessing to wake up every morning knowing you are making a difference in people’s lives.

– Randa Canawati, Senior Director, International Finance

Being able to see a smile of satisfaction on the faces of the community beneficiaries in the course of doing my work is what makes me wake up each day to strive and make a difference in peoples’ lives. That gives me a lot of satisfaction.
