Bill Mintz, a Lutheran World Relief donor, recently traveled to El Salvador to visit our cocoa projects and wrote this oped about what he learned for his hometown paper, the Houston Chronicle. Bill, a retired journalist and corporate public affairs director, is founder of Freewheels Houston, a nonprofit that distributes used bicycles to people who need transportation to work or school. Read the op-ed.
