Marie White brings more than 15 years of experience in fundraising for international faith-based organizations to her work as a donor advisor for Lutheran World Relief. She was excited to join the team in 2026 because of LWR’s Christ-centered mission to walk alongside communities with dignity, compassion and hope.  

She is especially drawn to LWR’s commitment to education and training, because equipping people to live into their God-given purpose and provide for their families ignites a holy fire that spreads hope and impact far beyond their own life. 

As a donor advisor, Marie loves working hand in hand with donors because philanthropy is where faith meets faithful action. Her goal is to help the donors she works with to feel inspired by the mission and that they are partners in God’s work.  

Marie earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. She lives in Raleigh, North Carolina.
