Leaving a Footprint in the Future: The impact of planned gifts on neighbors in need around the world

Register today for this exclusive virtual event.

August is National Make a Will Month. Making a will is one of the most meaningful ways to share God's love now and long into the future. When you leave a gift in your will to neighbors in need around the world, you're making the ultimate act of Christian service. You are being a good steward of the gifts God has given you. You are fulfilling Christ's call to love and serve one another. And you are doing your part to make the world a better place for future generations.

What does leaving a gift in your will or trust do for others? Join us for an exclusive virtual event that shares how estate planning can help Lutheran World Relief invest in communities. Joining us will be our country director in Peru Jorge Huapaya, who will speak directly about the types of longer-term programming gifts in wills make possible and the radical transformation he has seen as a result. We will also be joined by Cindy Aegerter of Thrivent who will share tips and advice on the most enduring and tax-effective ways to share your love with those who need it most. This interactive discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.

Space is limited to provide the opportunity for you to contribute and ask questions. Questions can be submitted in advance or during the event for those who register by August 29, 2022.
