The world can be a scary place — especially when tragedy strikes with no warning — destroying homes and ruining lives. RIGHT NOW, your neighbors are reeling from natural disasters, war, violence and hunger.
In times of darkness, your love shines the brightest.
Because of you, we can be ready and able to respond immediately and deliver lifesaving aid to devastated children and their families who’ve lost everything. You can be Jesus’ hands and feet on Earth when disaster strikes.
Your lifesaving gift will be put to work quickly, reaching children and their families with lifesaving emergency supplies, like nourishing food, clean water and safe shelter.
When you reach out your hand to comfort your neighbors who are feeling lost and desperate in their most dire times of need, you are putting your faith into action. Your neighbors feel your love.

Your support provides refuge, food and water for neighbors fleeing violence, like Fela and her family in the DRC.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo, families have been forced to flee their homes to escape life-threatening violence. Mothers watched in horror as their husbands were killed during the attacks. They knew they had to get their children to safety.
One mother, Fela Mbahibwe, says: “We just grabbed our kids. We ran in all directions. We didn’t carry anything. No utensils, we just took the children. Others died while trying to run. We just continued running.”
You can provide refuge, food and water for devastated widows and their children who have nowhere else to turn.
In the United States, heavy rains caused the Guadalupe River in central Texas to rise 25 feet in minutes, causing catastrophic flash flooding that claimed precious lives and left hundreds of God’s children without food, water or shelter. In January, deadly wildfires blazed through Los Angeles, leaving total destruction in their wake. Families watched in horror as their homes and family keepsakes, possessions and essentials burned to the ground.

In both instances, you rushed to the front lines to provide comforting quilts, nourishing food, clean water and safe shelter. But the needs are still great, as our neighbors are still trying to recover from these tragic disasters and are in need of lifesaving aid. Please don’t give up on them.
In Myanmar and Thailand, over 3,000 of your neighbors lost their lives, and even more were injured in the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck in March. Family homes were reduced to rubble, and the recovery has been slow and painful.
Your gifts helped us rush to the front lines with lifesaving aid, but there is still a lot of work to be done to heal and rebuild. You can stand with distraught families as they try to recover.
By making an emergency gift today, your love and generosity will be rushed to help your neighbors in need — wherever they are, whenever disaster strikes.
You’ll provide emergency food … safe shelter … clean water … critically needed medical supplies … compassion and comfort … and more as soon as emergencies strike.
Without your love, God’s children who lost everything will continue to suffer.
Will you give generously and help save the precious lives of our neighbors in crisis?
Thank you for your faithful service to families in need around the world.
