As a hardworking friend in faith, you will greatly appreciate our neighbor Nageswor Chaudhary’s work ethic. He lives with his wife, Ram Bati, and their children and grandchildren in a farming community in Nepal.
Making enough money to support his family has been difficult. He’s tried working as a carpenter to supplement the income from his small farm. He also did grueling work building houses as a mason, only for contractors not to pay him fairly.
“To provide food, clothes, education for the children, we were really struggling with that,” Nageswor recalls. “We did not have enough to meet all our basic needs.”
A group of caring donors — who want to reach vulnerable families like Nageswor’s, who are struggling to survive — has challenged you to make a donation by June 28.
Despite his hardships, Nageswor was determined. He had to provide for his family, including his beautiful 2-year-old granddaughter, Dibyansi. He moved from masonry work to repairing bicycles.
He worked hard at this new trade for five years, but he still had trouble affording enough food, his children’s school and managing ongoing family medical expenses.

Finally, Nageswor decided to go back to his roots and focus his hard work on his farm. He utilized his past experience to convert a bicycle into a plow. With the wheels of a broken wheelchair, he built an innovative handcart to carry fertilizer for his crops.
When hopes are dashed, you can help.
Just as Nageswor and Ram Bati were making progress on their farm and feeling hopeful for the future — the monsoon season arrived and destroyed their crops.
By sharing your blessings today, you can give Nageswor and his wife the tools they need to make their farm more adaptable to flood-prone Nepal.

When families have sufficient access to food, quality medical care and the tools and knowledge to farm — more children, like Dibyansi, can thrive.
So please give the gift of fresh food — and life — while it will MULTIPLY 2X and improve the lives of children and their families who need you now.
Your compassion goes twice as far until June 28. So don’t wait a minute more to help save the life of a neighbor in need.
