Simon Lewis

Chief of Staff

Simon Lewis is the Chief of Staff of Corus International and plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategies and operations to ensure excellence and effectiveness.

Simon brings over 15 years of experience in organizational leadership, project management, policy, technical oversight, systems design, and quality assurance to support governments and development partners in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond. He has a strong background in relational management, capacity building and cross-cultural delivery. He is an experienced leader of people, a systems-thinker and a proactive problem-solver.

In his previous roles with Corus International, he served as interim Managing Director of CGA Technologies and as a Project Director leading groundbreaking work in Ukraine with the Ministry of Social Policy, guided our social policy work in Malawi and ensured delivery of a new Teacher Management Information System in Siera Leone. Formerly, he was deeply involved in health and education service delivery across East Africa and high-profile dispute resolution in West Africa.

Simon is an Ordained Priest in The Church of England, having served five years at Lambeth Palace with the Archbishop of Canterbury and in parishes in East and South London.

Simon earned his master's degree in Christian Theology from Trinity College, University of Bristol and his bachelor's degree from the Goldsmith's College, University of London.
