Ousmane Raymond Seye

Managing Director, DRC

Mr. Ousmane Raymond has more than 22 years of experience in senior executive leadership roles, in West and Central Africa, including serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Aga Khan Foundation, a leader in the CSO sector. He successfully led the stabilization and expansion of Aga Khan Foundation’s portfolio in West Africa, working alongside the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development. Over the last two decades, Ousmane built a diversified network including INGOs, Government Senior Officers, Private sectors, and Academia, and most recently he led the Programme of Leadership in Crisis of University of Deakin’s Centre for Humanitarian Leadership. Ousmane Raymond’s expertise includes programme delivery & growth, people management, donor engagement in a variety of sectors (Education, Community Health, Youth Employment). He’s also co-author of various publications including NGOs Capacity Buildings: i) tools and indicators, ii) Institutional Development approaches: lessons from the field and iii) Frontline staff’s capacity building. Ousmane Raymond also holds an MBA from The African Center for Higher Management Studies (CESAG). He is adept at fitness walking and fan of football.
