Lutheran World Relief partners with The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) to support effective implementation of LCMS mercy projects in Chile, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Paraguay.
We work together with LCMS partner church pastors, missionaries and deaconesses, building their capacity to design programs and assisting them in implementing these programs.
Our programs deliver much-needed services for intellectually and developmentally delayed young adults through group homes and daycare centers in Chile and the Dominican Republic, provide educational, spiritual and emotional support to inner-city children in Chile and Peru through after school programs, and construct community training and worship centers in rural, underserved areas in Uruguay and Paraguay.
