HURRICANE MILTON RELIEF: Rush aid now

Hurricane Milton crashed into an already-battered Florida, less than two weeks after Helene devastated the Southeast. As you pray for families affected by these back-to-back disasters, please send aid now to help your neighbors survive and recover.

Hurricane Milton: Emergency response underway

Your love is on the ground now responding to our neighbors in the path of Hurricane Milton and reaching families recovering from Hurricane Helene.

Our emergency response team is coordinating with organizations across the Southeast right now. Here’s how:

  • Bottled water is being rushed to North Carolina and Florida, which is the #1 most requested item.

  • Shipping costs have been covered to deliver LWR Quilts and Kits to multiple Lutheran and faith-based organizations in North Carolina, Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana. At least 10 semi-loads of quilts and kits are reaching these organizations, with more quilts and kits at the ready as needed.

  • Cash grants are being sent to many of the same organizations receiving quilts and kits. The grants allow the organizations to expand their local response, which often includes providing food, water, essential supplies and temporary housing. Most of these organizations fundraise locally, so your donation brings additional support and aid that would otherwise be unavailable.

Send aid to Florida now

Your neighbors are counting on compassionate people like you to ensure resources don’t run out.

Thank you for taking action to love your neighbors today and long after storms subside. Your generosity ensures we can reach people when they need it most.

HELP NEIGHBORS NOW

To our neighbors in Milton’s path and recovering from Helene, please know you are surrounded by love and prayers, and that help is on the way from your Lutheran partners.

Until your love reaches every neighbor.
