Thanks to your generous support, Lutheran World Relief has raised enough funds to commit $6 million to immediate and long-term recovery work following Januarys devastating earthquake in Haiti.
These funds already provided food, water, shelter and other vital needs immediately following the earthquake. Looking beyond relief to recovery, we are working with partners on the ground to help rural communities cope with the migration of nearly 600,000 earthquake survivors from urban areas.
Through programs focused on growing food, stimulating local economies, and getting Haitians back to work, LWR is committed to helping the people of Haiti recover. This work is made possible by the compassion and generosity of people like you. Thank you!
