Eva Christensen

Senior Advisor for Resilience

Eva brings to Corus International over 20 years of experience in sustainability, small-scale agriculture, food security, and entrepreneurship. Most recently she served as Sr. Agriculture and Food Security Advisor at USAID, in the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA), and previously served as Activity Manager in Feed the Future (FtF), office of Economic Growth and Agricultural Development (EGAD) in Haiti. To date, she’s completed nine Feed the Future Farmer-to-Farmer assignments in Sub-Saharan Africa, worked as the Agriculture and Biodiversity Advisor for Peace Corps Response in Senegal, and as Technical Specialist for USDA small farming clients across the US.

In addition to her technical credentials, Eva also created and operated two successful, sustainability-focused small businesses and later worked as Executive Director for an NGO. Prior to building her current career she was a professional ballerina, and her most recent small business endeavor is that of craft chocolate maker.

Education: Georgetown University (BSFS), University of Florida (MS).
