Emried Cole, Jr. - Board Director in Lutheran World Relief

Emried Cole, Jr. retired in 2013 as executive director of Voices of History, a successful campaign to secure funding for and rehabilitate and repurpose the historic Schmucker Hall as the Seminary Ridge Museum in Gettysburg. He now consults for United Lutheran Seminary and its affiliates, and other not-for-profit entities. During his 35-year legal career, Mr. Cole served as vice president for law and risk management of an operating division of CSX Transportation, Inc. He is a director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland and the Public Justice Center, and formerly served on the boards of Lutheran Volunteer Corps and Lutheran Deaconess Association.
