Dr. Victor Bushamuka has over 20 years of experience working in international relief and development with 12 years working for USAID’s Office for Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA) and also work with the FAO, Concern Worldwide, and Helen Keller International. He has designed and managed agricultural programs in 11 countries in West and Central Africa and Asia and most recently worked for Concern Worldwide in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where he managed three agricultural assistance projects in areas affected by conflict. With USAID, he oversaw on average 25 multi-sectoral projects a year focusing on agriculture and food security in West and Central Africa.
Victor has a Ph.D. in Agronomy and Natural Resources Management and M.S. Crop Science and Sustainable Development from Cornell University and a BS from the University of Zaire in General Agronomy, Agricultural Economics.
