Today marks the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream" speech in Washington. (Watch the whole 16-minute speech here.) Little needs to be said about the enormous impact his speech has had on American history and culture.
We wanted to share our own dreams for the future of our world. In a world where God's kingdom surely comes on its own, we also pray for God's kingdom to come to us and God's will be done here and now. And we work every day to bring good news to the poor. Today we've been tweeting our dreams:
We have a dream that one day we'll live in a world where we're no longer needed. #dreamday
