WATER AND CLIMATE CHANGE
What’s wrong with our fresh waters? And what it means for impoverished communities.

The world’s climate is changing and this affects water availability. Presently, only one percent of the earth’s water is usable and fresh, yet water demand is increasing. As water becomes scarcer and more privatized, numerous areas of our increasingly connected global community may be threatened.

Virtual U participants will explore these challenges more deeply, hear how Lutheran World Relief is helping communities adapt to climate change, and be empowered to support the most vulnerable communities in tangible ways.

Michael Watt, Regional Director, Latin America (bio)
