Big Change Can Begin with a Small Postcard

Join with LWR to take action and speak up for people whose voices are too often ignored: the poor, the hungry, the oppressed and the suffering. When we act together, we can move mountains… and influence government policies.

Congress and the President need to hear what matters to us, their constituents, as they make policy decisions that affect our impoverished neighbors around the world. Your small actions, combined with our efforts, can (and have!) helped change U.S. policies. 

When you advocate for others, you confirm that all lives are precious, that justice is a human right and that peace is possible. Help LWR speak up:

• For programs that effectively fight hunger and promote food security
• For policies that help impoverished communities cope with and prevent future devastation from the effects of a changing climate
• For the protection of human rights and aid to help ease a humanitarian crisis

LWR needs your help to affect change. Sign up to receive LWR action alerts and respond by:

• Signing petitions
• Sending postcards to your government representatives to support water for the world's poorest and to fight hunger and malaria. Even better, encourage your congregation or community members to do the same and send them bundles of mail. The more postcards sent, the stronger our message! Email advocacy@lwr.org to order postcards.
• Using your online social networks to spread the word about specific needs for change
