In Africa, you will find LWR combatting abject poverty on many fronts. Much of our work focuses on problems of water, malaria and low incomes.

Your Support Makes It Happen

In the West African countries of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, where the expanding Sahara Desert threatens people’s already-fragile livelihoods—we are building water systems and providing job training so women and men can boost their income.

In the disease-ravaged East African countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda—we are teaching important health lessons to prevent diseases like malaria, providing training to boost incomes and partnering with the Gumutindo coffee farmer’s association.
