FAIR TRADE HANDCRAFT PROJECT
A Greater Gift: LWR's fair trade partner
A Greater Gift is a program of SERRV International, a nonprofit organization that has worked to alleviate poverty for more than 55 years. It partners with artisan and farmer groups in 36 countries around the world.
Its mission is to promote the social and economic progress of people in developing regions of the world by marketing their products in a just and direct manner. A Greater Gift follows a set of internationally recognized fair trade principles and practices, including commitment to fair pay, equal opportunity for women, and no child exploitation.
SERRV donates 10% of annual LWR Handcraft Project sales to Lutheran World Relief to support our partners and projects overseas. Also look for the LWR Chocolate Project, a partnership between Lutheran World Relief and SERRV International.
