FAIR TRADE COFFEE PROJECT
How to participate in the LWR Fair Trade Coffee Project:
- As a congregation, commit to serving only Fair Trade coffee, tea, cocoa and sugar.
- Start a buying club, offering fairly traded products for church members to use in their homes and offices.
- Give baskets of Fair Trade products to welcome new members, show appreciation to faithful volunteers, and as Christmas gifts.
- Teach youth about justice and Fair Trade by using the LWR Coffee Project as a fundraiser.
- Make Fair Trade a topic for discussion during youth or adult forums.
- Encourage local cafés and grocery stores to sell Fair Frade coffee, tea and cocoa.
